FAQ for students / Interns

IN WHICH AREAS OF KOMSA ARE TEMPORARY JOBS AVAILABLE?

Jobs are primarily available in logistics, in the call centre and in mobile phone repairs/general repairs. Temporary employment may be made available in other areas on a case-by-case basis.

IN WHICH AREAS OF KOMSA ARE INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE?

We offer internships predominantly in the context of a programme of study. Internships can be undertaken in almost any business area. The areas you may work in will be determined on the basis of our requirements and your course specialism, skills, interests and qualifications.

KOMSA also offers work experience and internships for school pupils.

WHAT SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES WILL I NEED?

You will need to enjoy teamwork and be interested in the ict sector. You will also need strong computer skills and to be competent in English. There will be more specific requirements arising from the job description and the area you want to work in.

CAN I APPLY FOR AN INTERNSHIP AT ANY TIME?

You should apply two or three months before your desired start date so that we have time to plan for your internship. We plan all internships between one and two months in advance. If your training schedule requires you to have more notice, please let us know via jobs@komsa.com.

IS THERE A MINIMUM LENGTH FOR INTERNSHIPS?

We envisage that internships – with the exception of those for school pupils – will last a minimum of eight weeks.
