The Swedish-born Gunnar Grosse founded KOMSA in 1992 along with three intrepid colleagues. They established their new firm in Hartmannsdorf, near Chemnitz. Today, around 1,200 employees working out of the Saxon head office take care of business processes between manufacturers, network operators and retailers, as well as commercial and private consumers. The retailer cooperative aetka is also based in Hartmannsdorf, as are the administrative departments, the KOMSA logistics team, the production plant, and the KOMSA Repair Centre.


Our Huawei business experts operate from the Kamen branch in North Rhine-Westphalia, assisting our clients with project development business. Specialist business retailers and system house partners can turn to our colleagues in Kamen to acquire and set up phone systems, UC and cloud solutions for their business customers, as well as mobile and fixed network services from various manufacturers. KOMSA is also pleased to be of service installing products, and is available to offer technical support during operations.


KOMSA came to Osnabrück in 2019 ‒ bringing it even closer to its industrial and retail partners in north-west Germany. Our newly established Poly team in Osnabrück supports specialist retailers and system house partners with all enquiries regarding the range supplied by the UCC manufacturer.

A showroom dedicated exclusively to showcasing Poly solutions demonstrates classic video conferencing and audio conferencing techniques as well as complete platform solutions from the manufacturer. We also present solutions based around applications such as Microsoft Skype for Business, Teams, Unify Circuit and Alcatel Rainbow.

Wolfsburg and Munich

In order to be close to the leading automotive manufacturers and suppliers, the KOMSA subsidiary KOMSA Services has sites in Wolfsburg and Munich.

Putting the KOMSA business network and some 30 years of market experience to good use, KOMSA Services equips automotive industry companies with mobile communications technology. It also implements and customizes Wi-Fi, voice devices, charging equipment, infotainment solutions and driver assistance systems designed especially for use in motor vehicles, and provides support to vehicle manufacturers in the digital transformation of their business models.




In 1999, the KOMSA Group began operating in the Polish city of Wrocław. Through its subsidiary firms KOMSA Polska and the aetka Communication Center Poland, the KOMSA Group is active on Poland’s ICT market as a distributor and service provider, supporting specialist retailers in Poland with a range of services.
